The eagerly awaited first breeding value assessment for 2025 brought considerable movement to the top lists due to the switch to the single-step method. Our highlights in brief: ++ MALAGA RED remains our absolute top sire, sharing second place with 161 RZG. With 155 RZM, 2,570 kg of milk with positive components, and thus 208 kg F/E, MALAGA RED can even expand his exceptional position as the highest production sire in international Red Holstein breeding. ++ MUSICAL PP RED rises to 150 RZG and, with very high components and an outstandingly balanced inheritance profile, establishes himself as one of the best homozygous polled Red Holstein sires on the market. ++ CORD, the comeback son from the cow family of Ruann Royalty Cora EX 90, boasts extremely high components and, with a 137 in udder inheritance, surpasses all competitors in the German Top 200 list. With 154 RZG, 136 RZE, and 127 RZHealth, CORD completes his breeding value profile.
